1. Overview
Why hire Another Plumber?

When you hire Another Plumber, you’re hiring the owner — a licensed master plumber with a personal stake in every job. For most jobs, it’s truly a one-man operation, meaning the person who shows up is the same person responsible for the company’s reputation. That level of accountability and hands-on service sets us apart from larger companies with rotating employees.

Whom should I refer to Another Plumber?

Anyone in need of plumbing repair or installation — especially those with mysterious leaks, knocking pipes, poor hot water supply, or issues before buying or selling a home. We also offer full home plumbing assessments, including sewer camera inspections, to ensure everything is in working order before a real estate transaction. A bad sewer line is one of the top reasons people move out of older homes — we can help catch that early.

2. Services
What is considered an emergency call?

An emergency call is any request for immediate plumbing assistance due to an urgent, uncontrolled situation — such as a burst pipe that can’t be shut off, or sewage backing up into the property. Emergency calls also include any such situations that occur outside regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

With over 20 years of experience and strong connections in the industry, Another Plumber can refer you to trusted professionals in roofing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, concrete, asphalt, landscaping, and more. Our customers know they can rely on us for referrals to serious, skilled professionals — people we would trust in our own homes.

3. Pricing and Estimates
How does Another Plumber charge?

Another Plumber offers flat-rate pricing for each job, with a $50 discount on all jobs after the first one. Our minimum fee is $200, although our Emergency Fee of $100 is the lowest charge in specific situations. Final pricing may vary depending on the scope and difficulty of the job. Our rates are typically slightly lower than major competitors, and we’re happy to negotiate pricing based on three existing quotes if you’re working within a budget.

What work qualifies for a free estimate?

We offer free estimates for visual inspections that don’t require tools or physical labor. If tools or labor are necessary to make an accurate diagnosis, our $200 minimum fee applies — but this fee may be credited toward the total cost if we’re hired to complete the work. If a final price can’t be agreed upon, only the minimum fee is due. Payment is required upon job completion.

4. Credentials and Warranty
How can I verify Another Plumber’s credentials?

You can verify licensing through the Maryland OneStop portal. All active master plumbers in Maryland are required to carry insurance — and we’re fully covered.

What is the warranty offered by Another Plumber?

We offer a 1-year labor warranty and a 2-year warranty for new construction, in compliance with Maryland state law. Warranty coverage may be voided in cases where unresolved issues or external conditions fall outside the licensed plumber’s control.
